where you enjoy of the amazing experience of flutuaçao (snorkeling) in natural aquariums? Bonito, in fact enjoys of rivers where the waters are extremely clear and 30-40 cm fish swin freely and fearless in them.
poorly organised yet, still so exciting to be moved by the currents in a 20-22 degrees water surrounded by wild vegetation.
also plenty of caves, no pubblic trasportation, very little english spoken though some gringo in the only one hostel and possibility to eat cayman or capybara meat.
I have been hanging around with few australians and a german guy, and that was fun...I also realised I can defend myself in portuguese much more than expected and that is good..
Bonito is basically few hundreads km or hours away from the northern part of Paraguay but this trip can be a long trip in this remote parts of the world..after reaching a small town called Jardim, with another nice australian guy we approached to hitchhike (just to try to gain time) while waiting for the only bus to the border town Ponta Porá, that was five hours later.
no luck though in this area of fazendas (farms) only and moreover on a sunday!!!
plan now is to enterand cross the little unpopular and non touristic Paraguay till the other border city, the (so known) contraband capital of Latin America: Ciudad del Este!
I then spent the night in Ponta Porá that is unusual place, in fact oddly my hotel is located on the main avenue that separates the brasilian from the paraguayan side of the town so the sidewalk on the opposite side of the road is officially Paraguay!! and then called Pedro Juan Caballero..
freely we entered Paraguay and then back Brasil few times just to look for a place to eat...

dove puoi godere della incredibile possibilitá di flutuaçao (far snorkeling) in aquari naturali? Bonito, infatti, gode di fiumi dove le acque sono limpidissime e nei quali pesci di 30-40 cm liberamente e impavidi nuotano..
seppur scarsamente organizzata, molto emozionante essere trasportati dalle correnti in un´acqua a 20-22 gradi circondato da una fitta e selvaggia vegetazione.
anche grotte, no trasporto pubblico, no molto inglese parlato seppur alcuni gringo e nell´unico ostello e possibilitá di mangiar carne di caimano o capibara.
ho trascorso tempo con alcuni australiani e un tedesco, e ho anche realizzato che mi posso difendere abbastanza bene, molto piú di quanto pensassi, a parlar portoghese.
Bonito é fondamentalmente, poche centinaia di chilometri e ore dal nord del Paraguay, ma questo puó essere un lungo viaggio in queste remoti aree del mondo.
..dopo aver raggiunto un piccolo vilaggio chiamato Jardim, con un altro bravo ragazzo australiano abbiam provato a far autostop (solo per provare a guadagnare tempo) nell´attesa dell´unico bus per Ponta Porá cittá di frontiera che era cinque ore dopo.
no fortuna in queste zone dove ci sono solo fazendas (fattorie) e per di piú di domenica.
Il piano ora é di entrare e attraversare il piccolo impopolare e poco turistico Paraguay fino all´altra cittá di confine conosciuta come la capitale del contrabbando in Latin America: Ciudad del Este!!
trascorso la notte in Ponta Porá che é un posto inusuale, infatti, stranamente il mio hotel é ubicato sulla strada principale che separa il lato brasiliano da quello paraguayano quindi il marciapiede del lato opposto della strada é ufficialmente Paraguay!!!e chiamato Pedro Juan Caballero..liberamente alla ricerca di un posto dove mangiare siam entrati in Paraguay e poi ritornati in Brasile un paio di volte....
