tra vini e gringhi...e boludi

south american spanish differs a lot from the official spanish and there are many vocabs that wouldn't be used in Spain as they are here ... one of this is "gringo" that is used to refer to foreigners or non-native speakers of spanish or even different physical appearances, or "yanqui" (yankee) to refer to the people from US..I am not considered in any of this two categories because I can understand the language and because of my apperance..another much more typical argentinian word is "boludo" that can be negative or positive: it means stupid/dumb but can be used to call a friend in a confidential way, like "malaka" would be in Greece, or "kgghiam" in Fasano...and in this case I can be considered in both ways.., I actually, for the first time since I got to South America, been named in the negative way in the supermarket yesterday: little argument for silly reason, but it's also normal after many buena ondas to meet a boludo, no?...it's not a case, in fact, that Mendoza is the place in Argentina with highest italian influence...anyway visiting bodegas (wineries), getting lost to find them!!..but enjoying (not really!!) of very hot days, interesting wines and techniques of production..


lo spagnolo in America del Sud differisce molto dallo spagnolo ufficiale e ci sono molte parole che non sarebbero usate in Spagna ma che si usano qui..una di queste è "gringo" che si usa per riferire agli stranieri o ai non nativi ispanici o addirittura a coloro che hanno differente apparenza fisica, or "yanqui" (yankee) per indirizzare gente degli Stati Uniti..io non rientro in nessuna delle due categorie perchè capisco la lingua e per la mia apparenza..un'altra molto più tipica argentina è "boludo" che può essere negativa e positiva: significa stupido/ottuso ma può anche essere usato in maniera confidenziale tra amici, come "malaka" può essere per i greci o "kgghiam" per i fasanesi..in questo caso, sì, che posso essere considerato in entrambi i significati.. a dire il vero, per la prima volta da quando sono arrivato in America del Sud, l'ho "ricevuto" in maniera negativa in un supermercato ieri : un piccolo alterco, un futile motivo, ma è anche normale dopo tante buena ondas incontrare un boludo, no?..non a caso Mendoza è il posto in Argentina con la più alta influenza italiana..in ogni modo sto visitando bodegas (cantine) perdendomi per trovarle si..!!ma godendo (non tanto) di caldissime giornate, interessantissimi vini e metodi di produzione..
