obviously my girlfriend and ... Quito!!

.. obviously with the presence of my girlfriend, from now on, my travelling becomes a bit different, the challenge after many years of independent/solo travelling, I will have to learn how to share it with somebody that will also deserves and needs attention and time.
Obviously this has meant a particular inclination towards her compared to my blog and to my usual organization in these first few days, but still the objectives remain the same and Colombia is ahead on our schedule..
so…Quito, that is the only city laying on the equator line and on highlands, enjoys of beautiful panoramic viewpoints and of crazy weather, at 2800 metres of altitude (above the sea level) and with equatorial sun and mountains, hills and volcanoes around, you hardly understand what to wear. Quito or better Ecuador where US $ is the official currency and where the 20$ note is the highest around and sometimes difficult to change!!
Quito is then located basically on the equator line and 20 minutes outside the northern part of the city you can technically stand with one feet in the northern hemisphere and the other in the southern!! In a place where tourism is bringing fame to the name of the country, we nicely found an interesting concert with popular and local music and many local people.


..ovviamente con la presenza della mia ragazza, d ‘ora in poi, il viaggio cambia un po’, la sfida dopo tanti anni di viaggio indipendente.. dovro’ imparare a condividere con qualcuno che merita e necessita di attenzione e tempo.
Ovviamente cio’ ha significato una particolare propensione nei suoi confronti rispetto al mio blog e alla mia usuale organizzazione in questi primi giorni, ma gli obiettivi rimangono gli stessi e la Colombia sara’la prossima nei piani.
Quindi.. Quito, che e’ l’unica citta’ sulla linea dell’equatore e su regioni montuose, gode di bellissimi punti panoramici e uno dei climi piu’ bizzarri, a 2800 metri di altitudine (sul livello del mare) e con un sole equatoriale e circondato da colline, montagne e vulcani, difficilmente azzecchi che vestire. Quito o meglio Ecuador dove il dollaro americano e’la valuta ufficiale e dove la banconota da 20$ e’la piu’alta in circolazione e a volte difficilmente cambiabile!!
Quito e’ ubicato fondamentalmente sulla linea dell’equatore e a 20 minuti fuori del nord della citta’puoi tecnicamente calpestare con un piede l’emisfero nord e con l’altro quello sud !In un posto dove il turismo porta fama al nome del paese, abbiamo piacevolmente incontrato un’interessante concerto di musica popolare e locale e tanta gente locale.
