the switch....

when sunny (hardly I would believe) San Francisco can really show its best, when then you have a bycicle to discover it much better..I have got to consider the pain in my butt of the day after and the hilly roads that are so incredible,,,but how cool is that: bike lanes, everything pretty much few miles away, a bit of nice breeze and a summer sun that hardly warms you up!!that's when it's sunny!!!I spent 4 days and 4 nights and all I got was pretty much fog and a English fall weather that didn't inspire discover at all...
San Francisco: pretty much Asian, or pretty much Latin American, with plenty of French and Italian spoken by the temporary guests..Manish was a great encounter and these days helped to get organised a bit for the following weeks.
an unexpected fase came up and started with the abrupt leaving of my red curl to Latvia, solo traveling again, solo life again (for a while!!) and already on the road, night bus to Portland using for the first time the National bus company, lightly ridicoulous, scary and dodgy, but lightly cheaper and faster..Portland will hold a huge brew festival in this weekend, some beer tasting doesn't sound bad at all....

quando a San Francisco c'e' il sole (direi poche volte) puoi davvero godere di una grande citta', se poi hai la liberta' di una bicicletta molto meglio...da considerare gli effetti collaterali al fondo schiena e le strade collinari tanto incredibili, ma sai che bellezza: carreggiate ciclabili, tutto a pochi chilometri di distanza e un venticello piacevole e un sole che a mala pena riscalda...questo quando c'e' sole...in 4 giorni e 4 notti la nebbia l'ha fatta da sovrana, accompagnata da un freddo autunnale stile Inghilterra che certo non ispira granche'..
San Francisco, abbastanza Asiatica, o forse abbastanza Latinamericana, con parecchio Francese e Italiano degli ospiti temporanei..
una fase inaspettata si e' presentata e cominciata con la partenza per Riga del mio riccio rosso..il viaggio solitario, la vita solitaria (almeno per un po!!) e gia siamo in cammino, utilizzero' per la prima volta la compagnia nazionale di autobus per raggiungere Portland..leggermente ridicolo, a tratti da paura e perche' no pericolo, ma leggermente piu' economico e rapido..a Portland in questo fine settimana si tiene il festival della birra...perche' no...
