"It will be fun to experience how our grand parents lived and dealt with a life without a fridge"...they didn't know what a fridge was maybe back then, for sure we don't know what a life without one is today..
Same would be for other super important daily bullshits as mobile phones, tv or A/C..
This post is about the fridge though, I might one day spend some words on other things that are the daily breath of many people and that were non existing just 30 years ago..
I would love to put myself in those shoes, and that's why I replied that way to my landlord when the fridge stopped working till dying needing a new one.
Ok we have ice today and it does help, we have coolers today and of course it helps too, but still it feels like I could love this..at the end the fridge is plugged in 24/7 and we need it kinda little, it might just be a matter of organization and understanding.
I will let you know how long I manage to be so positive and understanding cause the fridge won't be here before next week and we are already since 4 days with ice and coolers.
I actually had thought of it already: a life with a cooler instead of a fridge buying daily fresh products and maybe just some ice to be taken by a restaurant or bar to cool a drink.
This is my chance to experience it, I have got so many of this weirdo thoughts in my head......
"Sarà divertente vivere un pò come facevano i nostri nonnI senza frigorifero"..magari allora non sapevano che sarebbe mai esistito e di certo noi non sappiamo immaginare come sarebbe viverci senza.
Lo stesso sarebbe per le altre cose super importanti di oggi come i cellulari, le televisioni o l'aria condizionata..
Seppur questo post riguarda il frigo, magari ci spenderò un pò di tempo su quelle altre cose che tolgono il respiro a molta gente e che solo 30 anni fa non esistevano.
Mi piacerebbe vedere un pò come la vivevano i nostri nonni, per questo ho risposto così alla padrona di casa riguardo il fatto che il frigo si è rotto e deve essere cambiato.
Ok bisogna dire che oggi abbiamo il ghiaccio e aiuta, così come i cooler o frigoriferi portatili o da mare, non mi viene come spiegarlo in italiano ma aiuta anche quello..alla fine il frigo lo abbiamo acceso 24 ore su 24 e lo utilizziamo abbastanza poco, magari un pò di organizzazione e comprensione.
Vi farò sapere quanto resisto con questa mia positività e comprensione perché il frigo nuovo non arriverà prima della prossima settimana e siamo già da quattro giorni a ghiaccio e cooler.
Onestamente l' avevo pensato già: una vita senza frigo con un cooler e acquistare solo prodotti freschi quotidianamente magari usufruendo del ghiaccio di un ristorante o di un bar per raffreddare le bevande.
Questa è la mia opportunità, ne ho così tante in testa di cose strane...
