25th of october: today it is the 365th day I left my hometown and family to undertake this personal project, it falls precisely, not casually, on the birthday of my Latvian red curl and, after a week of very grey and rainy days, we had the chance to enjoy a nice day out on catamaran with "the team"..not to be forgotten that Cayman is still Caribbean and around these months (hopefully only these few) weather can get unpleasent and capricious..
the rain didn't save us on this particular sunday either and the catamaran experience turned to be a chilly and adventurous fun time...
trying to avoid on this blog as much as possible the personal and private stuff while waiting to get into the routine and relaxing life I am seriously seeking after, in this little and emotionless island.
the catamaran day out brought us to live one of those lifetime experiences that it's possibly the only interesting thing to do on the island as tourist and at the same time a beautiful example of ecotourism: the swimming and feeding and interacting with stingrays.. something very special and thrilling considering their poisonous tail.. safe and tired a new week starts...
25 di ottobre: e' il 365mo giorno via dalla mia citta' natia e famiglia per intraprendere questo progetto personale, cade precisamente, non casualmente nel compleanno del mio ricciolo rosso Lettone, e dopo una settimana di grigio e tanta pioggia, abbiam sfruttato la possibilita' di una escursione in catamarano con "il team"(il gruppo).. non da dimenticare che le Cayman sono pur sempre Caraibi e in questi mesi (speriamo davvero siano solo questi mesi) il tempo puo' diventare sgradevole e capriccioso..
il tempo non ci ha risparmiato neanche in questa particolare domenica e l'esperienza del catamarano si e' trasformato in un freddo e avventuroso spasso..
provando a evitare sul blog il piu' possibile riguardo la mia sfera personale e privata mentre attendo di inserirmi in una routine e vita rilassante che sto seriamente cercando, in questa piccola e impassibile isola..
la giornata sul catamarano ci ha portato a vivere una di quelle cose che si provano una volta nella vita, forse la unica e vera attrazione turistica che Cayman ha da offrire e allo stesso tempo un bel esempio di ecoturismo: nuotare, nutrire e interagire con le pastinache o dasyatidae..qualcosa di davvero speciale e eccitante e da paura.. considerando la loro coda velenosa.. salvi e stanchi ci accingiamo a una nuova settimana..
